We are pleased to offer grants for children under the age of 18, living in the state of ND who are affected by rare retinal diseases. The Focus Ahead Grant is designed to fund the following types of needs. The list is not limited and meant to be suggestive only in nature.

• Seeing aids (i.e. technology-focused items, mobility canes, etc.) Maximum award = $750
• Transportation costs (i.e. transit/housing for out of state medical appointments, trials, etc.) Maximum award = $1,500

The items above are meant to be used as suggestions. If there is another request not listed, the board will consider the application. Awardees will be asked to give a final report or testimonial of how the grant was used as well as be willing to have their testimonial used publicity by Focus Ahead.
